In March 2007, Innova Champion Discs received PDGA approval for its newest control driver, the TEEBIRD L (TL). The TL was inspired by its direct predecessor, the CE TEEBIRD, which was approved just six years earlier. A limited quantity of Champion TLs is now available at Hero Disc. These unthrown discs were originally clear, but over time they have developed a yellow and cloudy hue. The discs exceed the PDGA weight limit of 175.1 grams, making them illegal for PDGA event play. Overweight TLs are more than likely the reason why these discs remained hidden for over 15 years. These discs make a great addition to any disc enthusiast’s collection.
