I just started disc dog a year ago. After twenty-five years of disc golf I got a dog who likes discs. The Air is perfect for learning to throw light discs and for introducing dogs to catching. My neighbor’s Shepherd mix is soft jawed so this model is perfect. My ninety pound beast was tough on Airs but with a little patient training even Huxley can play with them and they last.

This is the best disc I have used to start throwing. It is a softer plastic so great for dogs who are getting used to biting the disc. If your dog has a harder bite this disc will puncture. I love this disc and have been able to learn a ton of new throws with it!!

This lightweight yet non puncture resistant model is great for soft bite dogs but will work with any dog if you are looking to showcase leaping ability, do certain freestyle tricks or throw long distances. Also lower cost per disc would make it easier to buy a stack of them for dialing in your throws without a dog and ensure you have a fresh one if and when you hit the competition field with your pup(s)!

I had never been disappointed with a hero product. I couldn't believe the damage after just two catches. Total trash, skip this model/color.
