I got this to try for my older border collie. Her younger brothers play disc and she did not want to be left out. She has hairline fractures in her canines from her younger days of grabbing roots and vines. I worry about her using firmer discs. She doesn't really want to catch a flying disc and this is perfect for rollers and her grabbing. She is my smallest but the most forceful tugger with the mightiest grip and bite force. Bonus - it floats! Love this disc! Wish I had purchased more than one. Will be purchasing again.
